• If one post-holder appeals succesfully, will other equivalent post-holders benefit?
  No, each post-holder must appeal their Job Evaluation individually.
• What happens if I don't sign to accept the Council's offer?
  The packs issued by the Council in February contain (amongst other things) a proposed package of terms and conditions for consultation. The form included is a survey form, which you are under no obligation to return. It will be several months before you are asked to make a decision on a finalised package. (Please bear in mind the separate 6 April deadline to lodge appeals against your job evaluation - the green document in the pack.)
• When will the three years cash conservation start for "red circled" (pay cut) employees?
  The Council's Personnel Service have advised UNISON that this will start at the date of implementation, e.g. September 2007.
