Recruiting and Engagement Event

Argyll & Bute Branch, Kilmory HQ

Monday Aug 7th 2017 from 10.30am

The purpose of my visit is to:

Recruit new members (happy to answer any questions you have about the benefits of membership, the support you can expect from your Branch once you become a member and the advantage that membership brings in terms of being part of an organisation whose job is to represent and act for members working in a range of public services and utilities. We represent members, negotiate and bargain on their behalf, campaign for better working conditions and pay and for public services.  Existing members who successfully recruit a new member could be entered in to a twice yearly raffle draw to win a cash prize.

Find out more about the issues affecting you on this site: meet with me and record, anonymously if you wish, any workplace issues that are unresolved, any health & safety concerns you may have, any issues relating to terms and conditions of employment, any bullying or harassment concerns – anything in fact that you think your trade union ought to be aware of i.e. with a view to taking forward, seeking solutions.  Everything you raise with me will be collated and forwarded to your Branch Secretary Mary Watt.

Updating member details (complete a form updating your contact details for our member database and get a goody bag containing a selection of UNISON-branded give-aways).

So come along, you’re very welcome, whether a UNISON member or not and I’ll be delighted to meet you, talk with you and provide you with answers to any questions you have.  You matter, help us to help you – it’s what we do.
