FAO SOCIAL WORK MEMBERS
We are pleased to advise that members have voted by a massive 93% yes to 7% no to accept the proposed collective agreement on the Social Work Emergency Service.
We would like to thank you for the solidarity and determination you have shown over the years and months we have been pursuing this issue.
We know the agreement will require close monitoring and there is further work to be done on the future model. We are meeting with management next week to discuss implementation and will with your continuing support work to ensure steady progress is made.
This outcome which amongst other gains, delivers the nationally agreed Scottish Joint Council standby rate backdated to 1st January 2021, shows the benefit of collective action and membership of UNISON.
